Why apparel needs its own ERP
General-purpose ERP systems treat a T-shirt like any other item. Fashion businesses know better. One style can mean dozens of size and colour combinations, fabric and trims bought by the metre, production runs split across workshops, seasonal collections, several shops and an online store that all need the same stock picture. We are building an ERP shaped around that reality.
This product is in development. The name may change before release.
What it covers
Purchasing and materials
Track suppliers, fabric, trims and accessories, with purchase orders and receipts tied to the styles they are used in.
Production
Plan production runs, assign work to internal teams or outside workshops, follow each batch through its stages, and see material use and cost per style.
Multi-branch, unified accounting
Run several shops, warehouses or companies under one system, with accounting that brings every branch together for a single financial view.
Distribution
Move stock between warehouses, shops and wholesale customers, with size and colour detail at every step.
CRM and customer club
Keep customer records, purchase history and loyalty points in one place, and reward repeat customers across shops and online.
Integrated online store
The ERP connects directly to an online store built on T-Rex Commerce, so products, prices and stock stay in sync without manual exports.
Deployed the way you work
The system can run in the cloud or on-premise on your own servers. Staff can use it through a web browser, a Windows application, mobile devices or an installable PWA, so the shop floor, the warehouse and the office each get a suitable interface.
A modular store
Not every brand needs every feature on day one. The ERP is organised into modules available from a built-in module store. Start with what you need — say, stock, sales and the online shop — and add production or the customer club later.
Bringing your data across
Most businesses already have data in spreadsheets or another system. The ERP includes data import tools so products, customers and opening balances can be brought in rather than retyped.
