Commerce without the plugin pile
Many online stores begin on a hosted platform or a plugin-based setup and then hit a wall: a second vendor, a custom order type, digital downloads, a second currency or a payment gateway the platform does not support. T-Rex Commerce is the engine we built for stores and marketplaces with requirements like these. Everything lives in one codebase, so features work together instead of competing.
One store or many vendors
T-Rex runs a single-brand store or a full multi-vendor marketplace. Vendors get their own panel to manage products, orders, payouts and messages, while you control commissions, approvals and policies centrally. Customers see one consistent storefront.
Physical, digital and made-to-order
- Digital file sales with encrypted storage and controlled download links, so files are delivered only to paying customers.
- Print and custom orders where a customer uploads files or chooses options and the order moves through production stages.
- Physical products with variants, stock, shipping rules and tax settings.
Ways to pay and get paid
T-Rex supports multiple currencies and multiple payment gateways, which matters for businesses selling across regions. Built-in wallets let customers and vendors hold balances, and coupons and gift cards give marketing teams the tools they need. For recurring revenue there are subscriptions, and for service marketplaces there is a freelance escrow flow that holds funds until work is accepted.
Built for phones
The storefront works as a progressive web app, so customers can add it to their home screen and get a fast, app-like experience without an app store release. Pages are server-rendered and kept light for good performance on mobile networks.
Content that sells
Product reviews build trust, and a built-in blog lets you publish guides and news on the same domain, which supports search visibility. SEO fields, structured data and clean URLs come with every product and category.
When to choose T-Rex
T-Rex fits when your store has more than one seller, more than one product type, more than one currency, or a business rule that standard platforms cannot express. It also powers the online store in our apparel ERP. If you only need a catalogue without checkout, Apex CMS may be enough.
You own the code, and we support the platform long term — including security updates, gateway changes and new features. Learn more about our e-commerce development service or start a project.
