Genesis Engine

The modular Laravel platform engine behind DigiVort's own products and sites.

Features

What Genesis Engine does

Modern Laravel stack

Laravel 13 and PHP 8.4 with Blade, Livewire and Tailwind — a conventional stack any Laravel team can maintain.

Custom admin panel

A purpose-built control panel for content, users, settings and modules, designed for non-technical staff.

Module system

Features are packaged as modules with their own routes, migrations, permissions and translations, enabled per project.

Multilingual and RTL

Manage languages in the panel and download or upload translation files; Arabic and Persian right-to-left layouts are built in.

Versioned updates

Releases are applied as packages with an in-panel changelog, so administrators can see what changed and when.

Roles and permissions

Fine-grained access control for every screen and action, from editors to super administrators.

Activity log

A searchable record of who changed what and when, for support, auditing and accountability.

SEO toolkit

Meta fields, canonical URLs, sitemaps, structured data and clean multilingual URLs out of the box.

A foundation we use ourselves

Genesis Engine is the base layer for the platforms we build at DigiVort. It is the engine this website runs on, and it is where we put the parts every serious project needs but nobody should have to write twice: authentication, roles, an admin panel, translations, logging, updates and search-engine basics. Starting from Genesis means a new project begins with a stable, tested core instead of an empty folder.

The stack

Genesis is built on Laravel 13 and PHP 8.4, with Blade templates, Livewire for interactive screens and Tailwind CSS for styling. It is a conventional, well-documented stack that any experienced Laravel developer can read. That matters: you own the code we deliver, and you should be able to hand it to another team one day without a rewrite.

Built around modules

Features in Genesis live in modules. A blog, a booking flow, a directory or a customer portal is a module with its own routes, database migrations, admin screens, permissions and translations. Modules can be switched on per project, which keeps each install lean and lets us add capability later without disturbing what already works.

Multilingual from the first line

Every string in Genesis is translatable. Content editors manage languages in the admin panel, and translation files can be downloaded, edited offline and uploaded back — useful when a translator works outside the system. Right-to-left layouts for Arabic and Persian are handled at the engine level, not patched on afterwards.

Updates you can follow

Genesis ships in versioned releases. Each update carries a changelog that administrators can read inside the panel, so the people running the site know what changed and when. Updates are applied as packages, which makes them repeatable across environments and reversible when needed.

Control and accountability

  • Roles and permissions decide who can see and change each part of the system, down to individual actions.
  • An activity log records who did what and when, which helps with support questions, audits and the occasional "who deleted that page?"
  • The SEO toolkit covers meta titles and descriptions, canonical URLs, sitemaps, structured data and clean URLs per language.

Who it is for

Genesis is the right starting point when you need a custom platform rather than a themed website: a client portal, a member service, a directory, a multi-language company platform or a new SaaS product. Our other engines — Apex, Atlas and T-Rex — handle specific kinds of work, while Genesis is the general-purpose core we reach for when a project does not fit a predefined shape.

How we deliver it

Each Genesis project is built by our senior team, deployed to hosting we manage or to your own servers, and supported long term. You receive the source code, the documentation for your modules and a clear update path. If you want to talk through whether Genesis fits your project, start a project or see how we work on our process page.
